Ayodeji Otegbeye MD, (1969 set) popularly known as “OT”, is the President and Founder of Pediatrics Intensive Care Specialists (CFPICS) and Night Lite Pediatrics Urgent Care (NLP) in Orlando, Florida, USA.

He attended Government College Ibadan (GCI) from 1969 to 1975 and is the second of four Dr. Otegbeyes who attended our Alma Mater.

At GCI, he was a keen sportsman, a member of the football and hockey teams, and Captain of the Cricket team in the 1974 -’75 session. OT went on to represent Nigeria and is one of a handful of GCI boys who have been on a West Africa Cricket team.

A 1980 graduate of the University of Ibadan, Nigeria’s College of Medicine, OT relocated to the United States to further his education. OT has been very active in the GCIOBA North America Branch on multiple fronts, including serving a 2-year term as the Chairman of the Branch from 2010 to 2011.

OT completed his residency in internal medicine/pediatrics and his fellowship in pediatric critical care medicine at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. He is triple board-certified in pediatrics, pediatric critical care medicine, and internal medicine by the respective American Boards.

He is the President of GlobalMed Consulting and MedStar Diagnostics and Health Services as well as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine. Before his current endeavors, he was the Medical Director of Children’s Medical Services in the Central Florida Region (Orange, Seminole, Osceola, and Brevard Counties) from 2004 until 2019.

 Dr. Otegbeye is passionate about GCI, the care of children with special needs, and medical mission trips to developing nations.
